Requiring swift development of new features for their flagship mobile app, Fitness First approached Appscore for consulting, team augmentation and development. Our team of engineers delivered brand new features, fully integrated into the apps existing framework.

Fitness First’s offshore development team undertook all development and testing for the company’s flagship app. Despite being accomplished at their tasks; tight deadlines and time zone restrictions meant Fitness First needed a speedier solution to manage future updates.

Identifying the need for a dedicated onsite team to push through development, Fitness First approached Appscore to help them provide an augmented team that could deliver on the roadmap of their flagship mobile app.

Appscore selected a development team of engineers well-versed in our agile methodology. The week prior to our engagement with Fitness First, the team began reviewing code and product backlogs to familiarise themselves with the product, functions and processes. Working tightly with the Fitness First Product Owner to determine each sprint backlog, our team delivered production-ready features within two-week sprints, fully tested in collaboration with Fitness First’s QA team.

Despite the rapid turnaround required for each task, our development team produced and delivered each requirement by the requested timelines, integrating themselves within the Fitness First team without hiccup.
